Camping

(4th Ave & Dogwood St)

The Five Suns Bluegrass Festival includes free "dry" (no electrical, water or sewer hook- ups) camping space on the Frontier Middle School grounds immediately adjacent to McCosh Park where most of the event activities will occur. This spacious grassy area will accommodate both self-contained recreational vehicles and tents.

Restroom facilities are located in several different areas of McCosh Park (across Dogwood Street from the camping area) and a limited number of chemical toilets will be available in the camping area as well. Morning shower "hours" will be provided at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park which is also located across the street in McCosh Park. Camp "sites" will be assigned on a "first-come-first-served" basis as site specific reservations are simply not an option.

An on-site campground manager will assist campers upon arrival with placement of their RV or tent. Personal vehicles (for tent campers) and "tow vehicles" in the case of camp trailers will need to be parked across the street in the designated paved parking lot adjacent to the park tennis courts. This camping area is quite large and will accommodate many Bluegrass Campers. The camping area will open to campers at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 25th and will close at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28th. We look forward to a great festival!

Camper Shower Hours: July 26, 27 & 28 (Fri/Sat/Sun) 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
